  1. Tata Niat dalam Hati Dalam melakukan apapun, niat adalah hal paling penting terutama untuk menuntut ilmu dijalan Allah. Dengan memiliki niat kuat dan tulus dari dalam hati untuk mondok, maka akan betah tinggal di pesantren.

 

  1. Jangan Suka Menyendiri Bagi yang baru masuk pondok jangan sekali-kali menyendiri. Sikap seperti ini malah membuat diri merasa tidak betah tinggal di pondok karena merasa tidak punya teman. Oleh karena itu, cobalah untuk bergaul dengan santri lain. Berusahalah untuk beradaptasi dengan teman-teman di sekitar dan cobalah melakukan kegiatan bersama-sama.

 

  1. Ikuti Kegiatan-Kegiatan yang Ada di Pondok Tips berikutnya agar betah di pondok adalah, sesering mungkin ikuti berbagai kegiatan yang diadakan pondok. Misalnya ro’an (kerja bakti), sorogan (mengaji bersama ustadz), dan lain sebagainya. Dengan begitu, hati akan merasa senang dan mendapatkan manfaat dari setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Tidak hanya itu, semua kegiatan yang ada di dalam pondok juga bisa berpotensi menghasilkan prestasi bagi diri sendiri.

 

  1. Jangan Memendam Masalah Sendiri Hal yang paling umum membuat santri tidak betah di pondok adalah memendam masalah sendiri. Untuk itu, jangan pernah memendam masalah selagi masalah tersebut bisa dibicarakan dan diselesaikan dengan baik-baik. Berceritalah dan minta pendapat kepada teman yang dipercaya bisa membantu keluar dari masalah. Dengan demikian, beban di dalam diri bisa sedikit berkurang dan bisa menuntut ilmu dengan maksimal.
